Public
Affairs is the Marketing and Public Information program of the Coast
Guard Auxiliary. Through Public Affairs the public learns about our
public outreach programs – Public Education and Vessel Safety Checks.
Each Flotilla needs an effective Public Affairs program to be successful
in these programs and to grow their membership. Through Public Affairs
as well as through the other outreach programs, flotillas find new
members who volunteer to improve our performance and to replace us as we
retire or move on.
